PRO’s Condor Saddle is an easy pull. It works and is priced so as not to be a commitment. When you want a good, comfy saddle, but aren’t sure what you want, and need something fast you don’t have to think hard about, go Condor. There are even standard and AF (Anatomic Fit versions).
PRO designed the Condor to have a little more squish than the rest of their saddles. If you need padding or are a lower-mileage rider, this is the comfort you need. The two styles are basically no-cutout, the Standard, and cutout (AF). If you’re really concerned about numbness, go for the latter. If you aren’t obsessed about it, the former.
The saddle also comes in three widths, 132, 142, 152mm, which is the widest point of the saddle as measured from under the saddle. If you want a standard, then 142mm should be the default. If you have a saddle and want a way to compare, measure your current saddle first to decide on width—measure the widest point from the bottom. If you keep on sliding forward, that’s an indication your current saddle could be too wide, so you’ll want the narrower one. If you find yourself falling over the back, then you might want wider.
The PRO Condor Saddle comes with 7x7mm stainless steel rails only. Of all the iterations, the lightest is the 132mm width AF version, at 250g, the heaviest is the 152mm wide Standard at 268g.
